Intro:

At Phone Staffer, we specialize in outbound marketing for home service companies, helping them generate more leads through cold calling. In this call, we reached out to a property manager inquiring about their power washing needs. While they already had a maintenance team in place, we were able to schedule a follow-up visit to provide a competitive quote for future services. This conversation highlights how cold calling for leads can open the door to new business opportunities, even when prospects have existing vendors. Below is the redacted transcript of the call for privacy.

Phone Staffer Caller: Thank you for calling. Please wait, and a staff member will be with you shortly. This call may be monitored or recorded for quality assurance.

Lead: Thank you for calling (redacted), this is Ella. How are you doing today?

Phone Staffer Caller: Alaska?

Lead: I’m good, how are you?

Phone Staffer Caller: Alexa. Hey, I’m doing good. It’s almost Friday, so all good to go. Thank you so much for asking! I’m just stopping by—sorry, do we have any property or existing manager to speak with at this point?

Lead: Um, what is this regarding?

Phone Staffer Caller: Oh yeah, absolutely. We actually have pretty much connected with a few of the listing agents up there. I am Ella; we are from the power washing company. We’ve done so much work at (redacted), so we figured we’d touch base with you guys one more time as we will be doing some work there next week. We’re just trying to see any availability of time for us to drop by the area and provide you guys with your proposal, which you guys can compare with any other vendor, because I heard you guys do have kind of like a maintenance deal. That’s the reason for the call.

Lead: Yeah, um, so we actually do already have a power washer on site and maintenance already in Texas. So yeah, I don’t know if that’s something that we would be interested in right now, but we always reach back out as soon as we are needing something.

Phone Staffer Caller: Right, right, right. I mean, as I’ve said to you though, we were very much aware you guys do have a maintenance team who actually works with you guys for this. But we wanted to be the best option for you guys, in case summertime or springtime, let’s say. But yeah, I mean, that’s understandable. Do you guys have any availability of time next week for us to just drop by and give you guys a subject quotation for that?

Lead: Um, yeah, anytime. We’re normally here Monday through Friday from nine to six, so just whatever time works best for y’all.

Phone Staffer Caller: Yeah, that would be good. Alyssa, are you one of the listing consultants? Are you an assistant manager or…?

Lead: Yes, assistant manager.

Phone Staffer Caller: You said yes, perfect, thank you, Alyssa. Can I have your last name?

Lead: Waldi. W-A-L-D-I-E.

Phone Staffer Caller: Perfect, thank you so much, Alyssa. Can I have the best email where we can just send a confirmation and some info as well via email?

Lead: Yeah, it would be (redacted).

Phone Staffer Caller: Is that the number or just the name? I’m sorry.

Lead: No, you’re fine. It would be the name.

Phone Staffer Caller: The name, got it. (Redacted), right?

Lead: Yes.

Phone Staffer Caller: Perfect. Yeah, um, I wanted to ask, Alyssa, do you have an idea of what the usual areas you guys are doing power washing are, so we can go ahead and take a look at that on Monday and give you a good subject quotation?

Lead: I would need to speak with (redacted) and kind of come up with that.

Phone Staffer Caller: Okay, that’s okay. That can be determined upon arrival anyways. But yeah, I think I’m all good to go. I just want to make sure—we will be there between 1 to 2 PM on Monday. Does that time work best for you?

Lead: Yep, that’s fine. I’ll be here.

Phone Staffer Caller: Perfect, thank you so
